RSCUE gives an air unit the operational picture, the flight plan and the tasking board in one app — so the aircraft commander and the coordinator are reading the same thing.

Traffic you can actually see

ADS-B positions refresh continuously with type-specific icons and track trails. Open any aircraft for callsign, squawk, altitude, speed, heading and registration.

A busy circuit buries the two aircraft you actually command, so the proximity filter narrows ADS-B and inReach to an altitude window and a distance radius around your own aircraft.

Flight planning inside the map

A full FPL panel, not a separate app. Pick from pre-loaded SAR airframes, build a navlog from ICAO codes, commence search points or coordinates, and get leg distances, route total, ETE, ETA and a bingo time calculated to the standard formula.

The eight standard patterns

Track crawl, creeping line ahead, parallel track, expanding square, sector, contour, coast crawl and electronic search — each with track spacing, leg length, altitude and turn direction. Plus an ISP grid builder and freeform pattern drawing.

Weather and airspace on the same screen

Weather radar with opacity control, cloud ceiling, NOTAMs, TFRs, obstacles and a hazard advisor, alongside airports and heliports, airspace zones, VNC charts, and 100LL and Jet A fuel availability.

Mission Command carries a local conditions panel with METAR, TAF, NOTAMs and flight category.

Air rarely flies alone. The same operation carries taskings, a twelve-section mission brief with crew-by-crew acknowledgement, role-based comms channels, and SARForce dispatch — so the debrief assembles itself from what was captured as it happened.
