Mission Command
The dashboard leadership opens first. Live operation status, org readiness metrics, phase timeline from plan through close, activity feed, quick actions, and a local conditions panel with METAR, TAF, NOTAMs and flight category.
We are onboarding a limited number of SAR organizations. Tell us how your organization operates and we will come back to you with a slot and a licence that fits. Fields marked * are required.
Search & Rescue Command and Control
RSCUE runs the whole operation — from the first callout to the final after-action report. Live ADS-B and inReach tracking, standard search patterns, flight planning, taskings, briefs and real-time dispatch, in a single tactical command environment built for iPad and iPhone.
Live ADS-B traffic, Garmin inReach trackers, in-app crew GPS, vessels and RPAS on a single map — with a smart proximity filter so command sees what matters, not everything in the sky.
Callout, brief, plan, task, dispatch, track, debrief. Every stage is connected, so nothing is re-keyed between a whiteboard, a spreadsheet and a radio log.
Patterns, terminology, checklists and report formats follow established search and rescue doctrine — so the app matches the way your crews were actually trained.
Capabilities
Eighteen connected modules covering mission command, planning, execution and organizational readiness between callouts.
The dashboard leadership opens first. Live operation status, org readiness metrics, phase timeline from plan through close, activity feed, quick actions, and a local conditions panel with METAR, TAF, NOTAMs and flight category.
Create an operation with operational authority (police, coast guard, emergency management, military and more), tasking ID, coordinates, schedule, ops team roles, visibility rules and attachments. Live taskings are flagged ACTUAL and unlock dispatch.
The heart of Mission Mode. Multi-layer situational awareness with tactical, aviation, weather and style layer tabs, 3D altitude mode, always-on scale bar, and a two-finger ruler giving distance, forward and reverse bearing, and travel time from your aircraft's TAS.
All eight standard search patterns — track crawl, creeping line ahead, parallel track, expanding square, sector, contour, coast crawl and electronic search — with track spacing, leg length, altitude and turn direction. Plus an ISP grid builder and freeform pattern drawing.
A full FPL panel inside the map. Pick from pre-loaded SAR airframes, build a navlog from ICAO codes, commence search points or coordinates, and get leg distances, route total, ETE, ETA and a bingo time calculated to the standard fuel formula.
Two views of the same board. Coordinators get stat tiles, filters and every tasking at a glance; field crews get only their own — deployment status, progress, crew, asset, comms plan, time log, and SITREP, status update and emergency actions.
A versioned twelve-section brief covering situation, mission, weather, areas and hazards, subject, command, comms plan, logistics, equipment, schedule and notes — with crew-by-crew acknowledgement tracking, reminders for stragglers, and PDF export.
Channels organised by role — command, crew, logistics, safety, medical — plus direct messages, broadcasts, file sharing and fillable forms with electronic signature. Quick actions for broadcast, resource request and emergency.
The real-time dispatcher built into RSCUE. Agency callouts by in-app push, SMS text or voice SMS, with a live signal preview, dispatching officer, nature of event, reply-to override and delivery confirmation.
How SARForce worksA dedicated operational state that re-tabs the entire app around the active operation — map, comms, brief and resources — and hides everything that doesn't matter until the operation closes.
See Mission ModeADS-B traffic refreshed continuously with type-specific icons and track trails, Garmin inReach positions with battery and speed, and in-app crew GPS — each tracker openable for detail, and messageable straight from the map.
Weather radar with opacity control, cloud ceiling, NOTAMs, TFRs, obstacles and a hazard advisor — alongside airports and heliports, airspace zones, VNC charts, and 100LL and Jet A fuel availability.
Profiles, availability status, certifications with currency and expiry, specialty training logs, activity reports, expense claims, assigned assets, next of kin and a biometric-gated password vault. Admins get bulk import, export and approvals.
Aircraft, ground vehicles, RPAS and equipment with registration, condition notes, status, photos and checkout and return tracking — plus crew creation that binds members, roles and assets into a callsign.
Doctrine and reference material available offline — incident phases, detailed pattern procedures, NOCL format, pre-flight and navigator checklists, altitude and scan range tables, signalling device ranges, the bingo fuel formula and standard SAR frequencies.
Platform admin, organization admin, officer and general member, with fine-grained per-user overrides across operations, dispatch, resources, crews, events, maps and documents. The UI hides what a user can't do rather than greying it out.
Because taskings, positions, messages, acknowledgements and SITREPs are captured as they happen, the debrief assembles itself — timeline, coverage, personnel, assets, findings, statistics and the structured NOCL reporting a formal after-action needs.
The standard-mode side of RSCUE between callouts — members, qualifications, assets, training, calendar and events, documents and operational notices. Everything that decides how fast you can respond to the next one.
SARForce · built in
SARForce is RSCUE's real-time dispatch service. When the police task your unit, the callout goes out immediately — push, SMS, or a text-to-speech voice call — carrying the nature of the event, the dispatching officer and reply-to information.
T2026-047 · ACTUAL · Priority 1
Overdue vessel, 24 ft, 3 POB. Muster at Hangar 2. Air, marine and ground response requested. Dispatching officer: M. Vachon.
Mission Mode
RSCUE runs in two states. In standard mode it's an organizational tool. The moment an operation goes active, the entire tab bar re-forms around the mission — and every view adapts to whether you're the coordinator or the crew flying the pattern.
Creeping line ahead · Sector 4
AIR 1 · 1500 ft AGL · 2V spacing
First aid, GPS, radios, headlamps…
SMC: Shift datum 0.8 NM SW, updated drift.
Live tracking
RSCUE consolidates the tracking systems your team already relies on, so command never has to reconcile three screens.
Continuously refreshed aircraft positions with type-specific icons, track trails, and a detail panel showing callsign, squawk, altitude, speed, heading and registration.
Live tracker positions with last update time, coordinates, speed, altitude and battery — and the ability to message that crew directly from the tracker.
Ground crews carrying nothing but a phone still appear on the map, with duty status and crew assignment attached to every position report.
Narrow ADS-B and inReach to an altitude window and distance radius around your own aircraft, so a busy airspace doesn't bury the resources you actually command.
